One could substitute "Brand X" for SharePoint in the article and the ideas would be equally relevent. SharePoint has its own technical challenges but from a business adaption view everything written is basic to ECM implementation. The consultants and vendors in the ECM space need to keep hammering away at these basic principles.

When I read the article the Zachman EA Framewokr came into my mind.
It looks like we can apply Zachman on building SharePoint Roadmap, to provide good information taxonomy for players
